JGM Free Lunch 837F
“Heterosis is the only free lunch in the cattle business” - I can not even count how many times Dr. Jim Gosey and others drilled that into my head. So, that is how Free Lunch got his name, he offers Angus-like calving ease, fleshing ability, and daughter mature size - with the extra muscle and power of his Simmental heritage. His Tanker dam is outstanding, and these sons are impressive, but his daughters are flat-out awesome. Thanks to Tyrell Rousey of Rousey SimAngus for the picture of Free Lunch in the breeding pasture. We have tested this bull in a random mating progeny test for feedlot performance and carcass traits. The results place him in the top 5% of the breed for carcass weight and the top 25% for both marbling and ribeye. Semen available
JGM Family Time 8E5
AAA# 19606787 | Angus | Age 7
Family Time is a proven calving ease bull that improves disposition and sires plenty of length and growth in cattle with the ability to grade well. We continue to use him heavily because we calved quite a few daughters last year and really like them. He replicates his dam's phenotype consistently in his female progeny and sires cows that are strong on maternal instinct and have really nice udders. We have used Family Time extensively on Simangus heifers, and actually have about 3 times more data on his Simangus progeny. His Simmental data ranks him in the top 10% for calving ease, top 4% for carcass weight and ADG, and top 15% for marbling within that population.

JGM Jefe 181J
JGM Jefe 181J is a balanced, high-quality sire that consistently stamps his calves with muscle, body depth, and structural correctness. He is the kind of bull that adds performance without creating management headaches—offspring come easy, grow well, and stay sound. Genetically, Jefe combines solid calving ease with strong weaning and yearling growth and useful carcass traits, ranking well across multiple economically important categories. He sires the kind of cattle that fit both maternal and terminal goals—practical, well-built, and highly adaptable to real-world ranch conditions.
